Anthropologist and Director of Ethnographica Private Limited, Singapore

Vivienne Wee is an anthropologist with extensive field research experience in Singapore and Indonesia. She has a PhD in Anthropology from the Australian National University, Master's in Sociology from the University of Singapore, and Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Anthropology from the University of Minnesota. She previously lectured at the National University of Singapore, Chinese University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong. She currently lectures as an Associate of the Singapore University of Social Sciences. In 2015, with Geoffrey Benjamin and Sarah Benjamin, she co-founded Ethnographica Private Limited for doing ethnographic research on intangible cultural heritage.
